According to authorities, Subauddin had planned to detonate an IED on July 4th.
Subauddin is a member of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). According to government authorities, he lives in the Azamgarh district's Amilo neighborhood. He promoted ISIS on social media sites and used them to entice people to join.
A complaint has been filed in Lucknow against Sabauddin. Sections 121A, 122, and 123 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, and the Arms Act. "We learned that someone in the Azamgarh district's Mubarakpur is propagating jihadi ideology on WhatsApp and other social media platforms while being persuaded by the ISIS doctrine through his friends. Additionally, he is enticing people to join the terrorist group, " the statement reads."
The suspect was taken to the ATS office in Lucknow for questioning, where it was discovered through questioning and a review of his mobile data that he had subscribed to the Telegram channel "Al-Saqr Media," which ISIS had established to indoctrinate Muslim youth with violence and terrorism.
Additionally, it came to light during the interview that Sabauddin had a Facebook connection with a person by the name of Bilal in 2018. Sabauddin and Bilal used to discuss jihad and the crackdown on Kashmir's mujahideen. Bilal provided the ISIS member Musa alias Khattab Kashmiri's phone number, and as a result, the terrorist organization was contacted.
