CBI found nothing in my bank locker, gave me clean chit, says Manish Sisodia
The federal investigation agency conducted 31 raids on August 19, including one at Sisodia's home.

Digital Desk: In response to the Central Bureau of Investigation's (CBI) investigation of his bank vault in connection with the liquor scam, Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister, said on Tuesday that nothing was discovered there. He said that everything was OK between him and his family. To conduct the search, a group of roughly five CBI agents travelled to the PNB branch in Ghaziabad's Sector 4 Vasundhara, which is located outside of the capital.

"Nothing was discovered in my bank locker today, just as nothing was discovered during the CBI raid at my home. I'm relieved to have a clean record. We were well-treated by CBI agents, and we also worked cooperatively with them. Truth has prevailed "stated Manish Sisodia.

“The CBI is welcome,” Sisodia had said in a tweet on Monday.

"My home was searched by CBI on Janmashtami. The CBI confiscated the locker keys during the searches on August 19. CBI checked that locker today but found nothing. Jewelry belonging to my wife that cost between Rs. 70,000 and Rs. 80,000 was discovered " he said.

"Our file cabinets and records were searched by CBI agents. However, they will soon arrest me since they have orders from above, "added the AAP leader.

Sisodia and his wife were at the bank. He is one of the 15 individuals and organisations included in an FIR that the agency filed in relation to suspected irregularities in the execution of the Delhi government's Excise Policy 2021–22.

Delhi's education minister lashed out at the federal government and claimed, "The Prime Minister sent a CBI team to search my residence and my lockers. This demonstrates my family's and my own impeccable cleanliness. PM Modi is under pressure to lock me up for two to three months. I'm glad that nothing was discovered today and that the truth prevailed. "

The federal investigation agency conducted 31 raids on August 19, including one at Sisodia's home.

In the lead-up to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has emerged as a challenger to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Sisodia claims he has been implicated in a fabricated case in order to halt his march.
