Rakesh Kumar, school teacher in a private school in Una, Himachal Pradesh has been arrested by the SIT on charges of CBSE class 12 economics paper on April 07, 2018.
A special Investigating team of Delhi Police caught three people in connection with class 12 economics paper leak from a private school in Una, Himachal Pradesh. Among the three culprits caught, Rakesh Kumar is also the main accused for class 10 paper leak. More details regarding the alleged paper leak is still awaited.
Rakesh Kumar along with his accomplices Amit Sharma and Ashok Kumar (both workers in the same private school of Una) went to collect the question paper of computer science but clicked the pictures of the economics paper with his mobile. Rakesh Kumar even had access to the Union Bank of India branch where sealed question papers were kept under his custody. It was his duty to further take these papers to schools.
The SIT had found out that the class 12 economics paper has been leaked in handwritten format two days before the exam took place on March 26.
Rakesh Kumar, was employed as a teacher in DAV Centenary Public School in Una, Himachal Pradesh since 2010, had been appointed Central Superintendent of CBSE Examination Centre in Una as well.
