New Delhi : Indian skipper Virat Kohli speaking over the Pulwama terror attack said that the team will stand by the decision of the country and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in respect to the future upcoming matches with Pakistan.
With the upcoming cricket World Cup will be played in the United Kingdom and India is scheduled to play Pakistan in the group stage of the showpiece event on June 16 in Manchester.
Speaking on the terror attack, skipper Virat Kohli condemned the attack that claimed the lives of more than 40 CRPF jawans. “Our sincere condolences to the families of CRPF soldiers who lost their lives in Pulwama attack. We stand by what the nation wants to do and what the BCCI decides to do,” Virat Kohli said during the pre-match press conference ahead of the first T20 against Australia.
There has been a growing rage among Indians post the dastardly terror attack on the CRPF jawans. The Centre has already decided to stop sharing river waters with Pakistan as well as deploying more troops in J&K to check on terror activities.
