Vadodara : Many cities in Gujarat along with Vadodara witnessed heavy rains as well as crocodiles entering the cities due to waterlogging and inundation in the nearby forested areas. On Wednesday, after a heavy downpour. many cities were quickly inundated crating trouble for the city dwellers. While the city dwellers might have felt some relief from the scorching heat they have been witnessing in the past few days, yet the floods and water-logging have added to the woes of the people as they are many areas inundated with knee deep water.
To make the situation worse, a large number of crocodiles have entered the city, creating havoc. One can see from videos taken by the locals shared online, crocodiles roaming the streets which resemble streams now.
A Twitter user shared a clip that was simply captioned, “VadodaraRains #Vadodara.” The video shows a water-logged street and two stray dogs trying to escape a crocodile that was casually wading through the water, trying to sneak up on the dogs.
There are many other videos, much scarier than the previous one where one can see an entirely flooded Vadodara, Akota and many other cities and where the crocodiles are strolling openly.

The flooding in the cities of Gujarat though has worsened as the downpour continues, what is troubling the people here are the crocodiles which have taken over the cities.
