Delhi & Punjab Govts inked knowledge-sharing deal for better health, education infrastructure

Mann stated that his government prioritised education, health, and power and that Punjab people could learn from Delhi, where many works were done under the leadership of Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Digital Desk: On Tuesday, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Punjab companion Bhagwant Singh Mann inked a knowledge-sharing pact, according to which 117 schools and mohalla clinics will be built in Punjab.

Mann stated that his government prioritised education, health, and power and that Punjab people could learn from Delhi, where many works were done under the leadership of Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal. Punjab can also teach Delhi about agriculture, he claims.

Meanwhile, Kejriwal stated that India would advance if each state began to learn from the good work of others.

"To suggest that only we have done good work would be incorrect.  There were several islands of excellence across the country, but there were divisions of parties and states, and nothing was learned from that," Kejriwal said in a joint press conference with the Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann.

The Punjab CM stated that he visited Delhi's schools, hospitals, and Mohalla Clinic, and his government also plans to implement the same services in Punjab.
