She submitted her nomination at the District Magistrate's Office in Lajpat Nagar. She will represent the Kalkaji constituency in the upcoming polls. The Delhi Assembly election is scheduled on February 5 and Atishi will contest against BJP candidate Ramesh Bidhuri and Congress candidate Alka Lamba.
