Delhi: A unique protest was observed yesterday in Delhi where several police men sat in front of the police headquarters. The police protest was over a clash of a parking dispute between at least 20 security personnel and several advocates. The policemen were seen with placards seeking help from the Delhi courts for the ones who were attacked.
Rajesh Khurana, the Joint Commissioner of Delhi Police asked the police force to get back to work but his voice was silenced by the thousands of police officers from Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Bihar who were demanding justice.
Congress on Tuesday on this had to say that the law and order had collapsed in the capital due to sheer negligence of the Home Minister Amit Shah. Randeep Singh, the chief spokesperson of Congress said that this is the first time such an atmosphere is prevailing in the country.
While the police personnel have been protesting for more than 10 hours outside the headquarters, there has not been a response from the Home Minister yet.
