Aeshra Patel, the former model, ran against the complainant, Jyoti Solanki, in the panchayat elections in December of last year.

Digital Desk: Based on a complaint filed by the sarpanch of Kavitha village in Sankheda, Chhota Udepur district police arrested a former model who had unsuccessfully contested local body elections, and eight others on Wednesday under the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989.
