    GST rate hikes: Full list of goods and services that are expensive now

    Digital Desk: Rates for a variety of
    commodities were altered during the two-day 47th meeting of the GST council,
    which was held last month in Chandigarh, in an effort to boost revenue. The
    council, led by Nirmala Sitharaman, 
    Nirmala Sitharaman, decided to introduce
    packaged foods like milk, curd, and paneer as well as unpackaged ones like rice
    and wheat when they are packed, as well as bank fees for issuing checks under
    the 5% slab and hotel rates of Rs 1,000 or less per day for stays under the 12%
    bracket. Here is a list of goods that will increase in price as of today, July
    18.

    Ostomy appliances and transport of goods and passengers by ropeways (Earlier 12
    per cent)

    Electric vehicles, whether or not fitted with a battery pack
