Jammu and Kashmir : A high level meeting is underway in New Delhi’s North Block which houses the Ministry of Finance and Home Ministry.
As per reports, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Secretary Rajiv Gaub have arrived at the high level meeting.
The meeting seems to have taken place after Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan called a meeting of the National Command Authority which controls Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal after air strikes by the Indian Air Force on Jaish-e-Mohammad’s launch pads in PoK (Pakistan occupied Kashmir).
At the meeting, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan asked his countrymen and armed forces to be prepared for any kind of eventualities.
Soon after the Indian Air Force airstrike across LoC destroying the biggest terror camps belonging to JeM, a sea of celebration took place in India with people across different sections saluting the Indian Air Force for their surprise feat on Pakistan post Pulwama terror attack.
Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman along with three heads of the Indian Armed forces will also meet shortly over important proposals for the Armed forces, reported by ANI.
Following the attack four airports belonging to Leh, Jammu, Srinagar and Pathankot airports have been put on high alert due to security reasons.
