Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off “Tejas Express” today at the Lucknow-Delhi route. This train is India’s first private train run by the Indian railways which will leave Delhi at 3:35 p.m. and reach Lucknow at 10:05 p.m.

Tejas Express is an ultra-modern train packed with modern facilities like plush interiors, personalized reading lights, executive lounge, retiring rooms, one executive class AC chair car and nine AC chair car coaches, apart from on-board meals, tea, coffee and RO machines.
The train travelling on Delhi-Lucknow route will stop at two stations- Kanpur and Ghaziabad. Further, the passengers travelling by this train train will be provided a free insurance up to RS. 10 lakh by IRCTC.
