New Delhi : A major fire outbreak in Karol Bagh, New Delhi early morning killed 17 while injuring many others, who were immediately rushed to the hospital by Fire services.
The fire broke out in Karol Bagh’s Arpit Hotel in the wee hours of the morning. The incident took place at 4:30 am. Around 50 people were rescued by Fire services and police men who reached the spot. Unfortunately 17 people died while many others received serious injuries at the incident spot.

Wounded people were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. Relatives of the deceased have been informed about the incident.

Major fire outbreak
Around 22 fire service vans reached Arpit Hotel to douse the fire and rescue the trapped people. The entire rescue mission continued till 7:30 am when ultimately the fire was brought under control.
The fire started at 4th floor of the Hotel from where the fire spread to the second floor turning it into a massive fire.

The Director of Delhi Fire Services said that they received the call of the incident very late due to which the fire took an ugly turn spreading across many floors due to which maximum people got trapped in the fire.
