    Man died of electrocution after high voltage current came into an ATM machine



    Digital Desk: A shocking incident occurred in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday after a young man was electrocuted while withdrawing cash from an ATM. 


    The incident occurred under the police station Lisadi Gate, where a 25-year-old identified as Danish had come to withdraw money from an ATM; however, while withdrawing money from the India One ATM, the deceased received a high voltage jolt, after which he died in the spot. 


    The people of the region were surprised to see the young man in pain inside the ATM chamber, after which he was hardly dragged out of the ATM and taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.


    Meanwhile, the residents in the region expressed their displeasure with the ATM electrocution. People raised a stir and asked that the ATM company be held responsible and that the deceased's family be compensated.


    Reportedly, the police have taken charge of the body and have sent it for a post-mortem. It is currently being investigated how such a high voltage current got into the ATM.
