Manali Bans Camping Without Permission

concerning unauthorised and ongoing camping in forested areas. He continued,
"These campgrounds pollute water supplies and are spots where litter is
left behind. The activity shall be stopped with strict measures ".

to sources, a crew will establish temporary checkpoints to verify authorization
and adherence to the HP Adventure Activities Rules. On the Hamta Pass Trek, the
first checkpoint will be built to manage camping and hiking. One of Himachal
Pradesh's most well-known and popular hikes is this one. The forest department
will issue camping licences, and the activity will only be permitted at least
25 metres away from water streams. Solo camping is also prohibited while
