Mukesh Ambani came to the Dham earlier today and was greeted by temple committee vice president Kishore Pawar.
Digital Desk: Mukesh Ambani, head of Reliance Industries, delivered prayers at Uttarakhand's Badrinath Dham on Thursday and contributed Rs 5 crore to the shrine.
This morning, he came to the Dham and was greeted by temple committee vice president Kishore Pawar. Ambani believes in Lord Badri Vishal and pays yearly visits to the ancient temple.
The visit comes about a month after he was forced to cancel his trip due to inclement weather. Last month, the RIL chairman arrived to Dehradun's Jolly Grant Airport to pay a visit to the temple.
However, because to the stormy weather, he was unable to proceed to the temple. He had travelled there with his family but had to cancel the visit.
Earlier in october, Ambani offered prayers at the Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh and contributed Rs 1.5 crore to Lord Venkateswara's hill shrine. On September 12, Ambani paid a visit to the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, a town in Rajasthan near Udaipur.
Ambani gave roughly Rs 2 crore to the Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) in 2019 to purchase sandalwood and saffron.
