PM Narendra Modi will launch Digital India Week and introduce new initiatives

Digital Desk: With the goal of
transforming the country into a knowledge-based economy and digitally empowered
society, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch Digital India Week 2022 in
    Gandhinagar on Monday.

    Along with "Digital India
GENESIS" (Gen-next Support for Innovative Startups), a national deep-tech
startup platform, PM Modi will introduce "Digital India Bhashini,"
which would make it simple for Indians to use the internet and digital services
in local languages. According to the Prime Minister's Office, a total budget of
750 crore has been planned for both initiatives.

    The Prime Minister will also
dedicate "MyScheme," which will give access to government programmes
in a single location, to the people.

    Additionally, the two-day event will
show how simple it is for citizens to use public digital platforms like
Aadhaar, UPI, Cowin, and Digilocker, among others.

Over 200 stalls are anticipated to
be set up by Indian unicorns and startups, along with participation from
startups, government leaders, experts from business and academia.

Additionally, RDP Workstations, which won the Government of
India's "Manufacturing of Laptops" award, will present its line of
reasonably priced laptops and cellphones, priced from Rs 20,000 to Rs 5,000,
    respectively.

"Our mission is to offer customers high-quality
computer products at reasonable prices. Since price is the major goal, there is
no competition here, according to Rajesh Mallampalli, vice president of sales
    at RDP.
