Digital Desk: In the midst of ongoing politics over CBI raids against Delhi Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has asked the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to 'expose' the BJP's attempts to destabilize the Delhi government. Clyde Crasto, spokesperson for the NCP, stated that the AAP should reveal the alleged recording of the offer made to Manish Sisodia.

On Monday, Sisodia alleged that he was promised that if he joined the BJP, the ongoing CBI cases against him would be withdrawn. According to AAP, the allegations can be proven because the party had a tape of the offer made to Sisodia.

"Similar offers to Maharashtra's MLAs were made, and eventually the Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government was toppled. Why wait when AAP claims to have a recording of the 'Offer'? Release it and expose the BJP," Crasto said.

Sisodia had claimed on Monday to have received a message from the BJP that read: "Join the BJP after leaving AAP. We'll see to it that all CBI and ED cases against you are dropped." The BJP quickly reacted and claimed that Sisodia was attempting to divert attention away from the corruption allegations levelled against him.

Notably, the BJP and AAP have been exchanging heated words following the CBI raid on Sisodia's home last week. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal claimed on Monday that the CBI's investigation of Sisodia was being done in light of the Gujarat Assembly elections. During a two-day trip to Gujarat, Kejriwal also asserted that Sisodia deserved the Bharat Ratna for his role in modernizing the educational system in Delhi.
