In the previous 24 hours, 54 fatalities have been reported throughout the country, bringing India's total death toll to 522,116. With the current jump, the total number of cases in the country has grown to 43,052,425.

    Active caseload jumps:

    The number of active cases has risen to 14,241 and now accounts for 0.03 percent of all cases recorded thus far. According to the ministry figures, the active caseload increased by 808.

    The recovery rate has decreased somewhat:

    In the previous 24 hours, 1,589 persons have recovered from the viral infection. As a result, the recovery rate declined slightly to 98.75%. The previous day, it was 98.76.

    The total number of patients who have recovered so far is 4,25,16,068, according to the ministry.


    Rate of positivity:

    According to the government, the daily positive rate increased to 0.55 per cent as the national count increased. The weekly optimism rate is 0.47 per cent.

    The National Capital remains the leading source of new infections across the country. According to the state health department's daily report, 965 people died in Delhi on Thursday. The city has a 4.71 percent optimism rating.
