Prior to Sonia Gandhi's second appearance at ED, Congress schedules a meeting

Sonia Gandhi was once again summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday (July 26) following a three-hour interrogation of her on Thursday in connection with the National Herald case. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who stayed at the ED headquarters until the end of the questioning, was with the Congress interim president.

Digital Desk: The Congress held a
meeting of the party leaders on Monday to plan protests, a day ahead of Sonia
Gandhi's appearance at the Enforcement Directorate headquarters here. The party
has instructed its members to stage a nonviolent "satyagraha."

    Leaders
have been requested to attend the evening meeting to address the issue's
    strategy.

    The
Congress protested last week when Sonia Gandhi was called into the ED. Congress
members of parliament protested inside the Parliament building and later
attempted to march to the ED office, but they were arrested and eventually
    freed.

number of trains in protest at the Enforcement Directorate's interrogation of
their party's leader, Sonia Gandhi (ED).

    The
central government and the financial investigation agency, ED, were criticized
by the demonstrators for allegedly pursuing and silencing members of the
    opposition.

    The
Youth Congress declared, "This is a symbolic demonstration against the
tyranny which is continuously set on crushing the Constitution and
    democracy."
