    Punjab CM announces setting up judicial panel after Sidhu Moosewala's father seeks probe by HC judge
    The CM expressed sorrow and grief over Sidhu Moose Wala's sudden death, saying the late singer was a popular singer and a cultural symbol of Punjab.

    Digital Desk: The Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann, has announced to set up of a judicial commission under the chairmanship of a sitting judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court to probe into the murder of singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, who was popularly known as Sidhu Moose Wala.

    Moreover, while acceding to a plea by Balkar Singh Sidhu, the singer's father, the chief minister said the state government would ask the Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court to get the matter probed by a sitting judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

    The CM stated that the state administration will provide full cooperation to the probe commission, including enlisting the help of federal agencies such as the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

    He also asked for clarification from Punjab's Director-General of Police (DGP) regarding the incident's news conference held yesterday.

    The chief minister, in condemning the gruesome murder of Sidhu Moose Wala, stated firmly that the government will leave no stone unturned in apprehending the perpetrators of this heinous crime.

    Bhagwant Mann stated that he had given the police orders to conduct a comprehensive investigation of the case in a timely and result-oriented way.

    All parts of the late singer's security reduction, according to the chief minister, are being investigated, and if any lapses will be found, will be fixed.
