    Digital Desk: The Reserve Bank of
    India (RBI) approved the first installment of Punjab's cash credit limit (CCL),
    totaling 36,999 crore out of a total of 44,500 crore, on Wednesday. Paddy
    purchases will begin on October 1.



    After the
    first installment is finished, the remaining $7,500 crore for November is
    anticipated to be distributed. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann declared that the
    upcoming Kharif marketing season will be the first under the AAP government and
    gave the department of food and civil supplies instructions to begin early
    preparation.
