Digital Desk: Sakshi Dhoni, the wife of former India and Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has questioned the state administration over the state's electricity issue. Sakshi posted on Twitter on Monday (April 25): "As a taxpayer of Jharkhand just want to know why is there a power crisis in Jharkhand since so many years? We are doing our part by consciously making sure we save energy!"

A heatwave is expected to last till April 28 in Girdhi, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Ranchi, Bokaro, Koderma, Palamu, Garhwa, and Chatra. Meanwhile, Union Power Minister RK Singh met with Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Monday to explore steps to improve the efficiency of coal delivery to power plants.
Sakshi asked all stakeholders at the federal and state levels to collaborate for uninterrupted electricity supply, according to a statement from the Ministry of Power. The minister advised power generation companies to own freight rakes under the Ministry of Railways' programme to deal with logistical difficulties in coal delivery. Representatives from Coal and Power PSUs, as well as the states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra, virtually joined the conference.
