military regime in Myanmar is seeking the release of at least 17 persons from
his state. He also asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for immediate
intervention. In this regard, Stalin issued a letter to Modi.

    Under the
condition of anonymity, a senior official from the department of rehabilitation
and welfare of non-resident Tamils told HT that they had located one state
family who had transferred their son to Dubai for employment. "A business
then transported him there to work in Thailand. Additionally, we have heard
unsubstantiated information that he was driven to Myanmar illegally, according
    to the official.

Stalin stated: "Right now, there is a great deal of
misunderstanding. But it is undeniable that we have all 17 Tamilians'
information. Men predominate over women. We have access to their passport
information. We are informed that other people are imprisoned at other
businesses and do not even have access to mobile phones. We are also attempting
    to locate and contact them.
