Jodhpur: Two Indian army jawans, have been arrested for leaking ‘crucial info’ to a female ISI agent of Pakistan. The officials confirmed that the jawans were sending crucial information after falling in a honeytrap of the Pakistani woman.
The duo, Lance Nayak Ravi Verma, from Madhya Pradesh and soldier Vichitra Behra, from Odisha, have been taken into custody from Jodhpur railway station. According to reports furnished by Indian army, both the jawans were going to their village from Pokhran when intelligence officials took them into custody from Jodhpur railway station on Tuesday.
The two accused were taken to Jaipur from Jodhpur where they are being interrogated.
While on the other hand Rajasthan Additional Director General Umesh Mishra confirmed the preliminary investigation but he also cleared the air that the one of the two jawans arrested who is said to be from Assam, is actually from Odisha by the name Vichitra Behra and not Bichitra Bohra as claimed earlier.
Rajasthan’s ADG confirmed that the two jawans where have been sent for interrogation and confirmed in the preliminary interrogation that the woman who honey trapped them had a Punjabi accent and was calling using voice over internet protocol (VoIP) service from Pakistan which was reflected as Indian number on the soldier’s screen.
