Pakistan Occupied Kashmir : In a recent development in the mounting tension between India and Pakistan, the wreckage of the Pakistani F-16 jet, which was shot down by Indian Air Force (IAF) has been found in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
News Agency ANI tweeted with a photo of the Pakistani Fighter jet’s parts where the Commanding Officer of Pakistan’s 7 Northern Light Infantry was also seen among others.
Notably, the same picture was circulated on social media yesterday and claimed that this was the Indian MIG fighter. However, multiple sources in the IAF have confirmed that this was the wreckage of Pakistani F16 downed on Wednesday.
It may be mentioned that yesterday one Pakistani Fighter jet F-16 had allegedly entered Indian Air Space over Nowshera was shot down by the Indian Air Force Fighter Jets. One of the Indian Pilots manning the fighter jets fell in the territory of PoK after his fighter plane crashed in PoK.
The Indian Pilot identified as Wing Commander Abhinandan is in the custody of the Pakistan Army after he was captured wounded by the Pakistan Army.
