CM Himanta Biswa Sarma accelerates election strategy in Barak Valley
We are certain that we would win by a resounding majority in both the Karimganj and Silchar Lok Sabha seats.........

Digital desk: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma accelerated the election plan for the two Lok Sabha constituencies in Silchar and Karimganj. CM Sarma engaged with party workers in Karimganj on Monday during a day-long visit to Barak Valley.

On the same day, he also engaged with BJP workers in the Cachar district alongside Parimal Suklabaidiya, a cabinet minister in the state government and the BJP's candidate for the Silchar Loksabha seat, which has been reserved since the constituencies' delimitations.

Speaking with reporters, the Chief Minister stated that the party will win by a minimum of 2.5 lakh votes and that, after the delimitation process, the Silchar Lok Sabha seat—which is a reserved seat for the SC candidate—is in a very good political position. Additionally, he expressed confidence about winning Karimganj by a minimum of 1.5 lakh votes.

"We are certain that we would win by a resounding majority in both the Karimganj and Silchar Lok Sabha seats, having discussed this with the party workers and candidates in both cases. Parimal Suklabaidiya is a strong candidate for the Silchar seat because of his extensive political background. He has always been a well-liked leader who has no negative traits, so I'm glad he will be representing the esteemed Silchar Lok Sabha seat. Furthermore, we are fully optimistic that we will secure both seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections because Kripanath Mallah is currently serving as an MP. While the nominations for both candidates are being filed, I shall be in Barak Valley," the Chief Minister said.
