    Encounter breaks out between security forces, Naxals in Chhattisgarh
    An incident between the forces and Naxalites occurred in the Koyalibeda area during a joint operation of the police, BSF, and SSB, according to officials.

    Digital Desk: According to officials, there was an encounter between security personnel and Naxalites early on Sunday in Chhattisgarh's Kanker district. There was a search going on in the area.

    In the Kanker area of Chhattishgarh, three Naxalites were killed in a gunfight with police troops on February 25. An incident between the forces and Naxalites occurred in the Koyalibeda area during a joint operation of the police, BSF, and SSB, according to officials.

    The incident happened during a counter-naxal operation in a Koyalibeda woodland. 
     
    "Three Naxals lost their lives in the conflict, and three firearms were found," stated Kanker SP Indira Kalyan Elesela. Based on information obtained regarding Raju Salaam, a Naxal commander, the operation was initiated.
