The mission, which was conducted from October 7 to October 13, involved moving over steep terrain with dense forests and undergrowth in arid conditions.

Digital Desk: As many as 245 people stranded in Rabom village were rescued in North Sikkim by Trishakti Corps soldiers in a daring rescue operation.

The mission, which was conducted from October 7 to October 13, involved moving over steep terrain with dense forests and undergrowth in arid conditions.

The army, who were confined for operations that lasted a long time, gave the trapped individuals food and medical care.
97 employees of the Kundan Hydro Power Project and 80 to 100 residents were saved by the heroic Indian Army soldiers who carved a 14.8 kilometre route while working around the clock in bad weather.
