Dehradun: A banner outside a temple gate in Uttarakhand has created a stir with the words written on it. The banner reads that Non-Hindus are prohibited inside the temple premises.
“This premise is a holy place of Hindus. Entry of non-Hindus impermissible here,” the banner reads.
Similar posters have also been put up in several other temples across the state, as per reports.
Temple authorities have denied knowing anything about it, news agency ANI reported.
The banner, put up by fringe outfit Hindu Yuva Vahini, has been removed and a case has been registered under Section 153A against the person whose contact number was on the banner, said police.
