New Delhi: After the repeal of farm laws by the Modi led-government, now the opposition attacked the government to withdraw the labor laws.
The ruling government is now careful concerning the labor law. Therefore, the law has been delayed for some time so that it does not negatively affect the elections of five states.
Sources stated that the government is considering measures to implement the rules of the new labor law.
On the other hand, Congress considers that the government will have to withdraw the new labor laws. For this, the opponent is fixing the formation of a significant shift.
The central government has modified 29 labor laws into 4 labor codes. The government has incorporated Industrial Relations Code, Occupational Safety Health and Working Code, Minimum Wages Code, and Social Security Code.
There are specific laws that government creates, and they are most probably being imposed forcefully upon citizens. However, these laws are nowhere beneficial in a more extensive scope for citizens.
National leader of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Pawan Kumar, stated that the government has modified 29 laws and made 4 labor codes. The Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh has embraced the two labor codes. Minimum wage laws and social safety codes are welcomed.
But, the government should immediately change the Industrial Relation Code and Occupational Safety Health and Working Code. In the Industrial Relation Code, the worker should get the freedom to strike.
Opposition leader Pranav Jha stated that there is a lot of outrage among the workers. Several unions are complaining, as they can be hurled at any moment. Duty hours have been extended. There is additionally a big farmer labor demonstration in Mumbai on 28 November concerning this.
