"There is no India without Hindus and no Hindus without India":Mohan Bhagwat

New Delhi: On Saturday, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat stated that there is no India without Hindu and no Hindu without India.

He moreover emphasized that India and Hindus could not be separated. "There is no India without Hindus and no Hindus without India," Bhagwat stated at Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior event.

"India stood on its own. This is the essence of Hindutva. For this reason, India is the nation of Hindus," he added.

Speaking concerning India's partition, Bhagwat stated, "After partition, India broke off and Pakistan was created. It occurred because we forgot the meaning that we are Hindus. The Muslims there also forgot this. First, the power of those who think themselves to be Hindus settled, then their numbers declined. That is why, Pakistan was no longer India."

The RSS chief additionally added that the number of Hindu is decreasing in the nation.

"You will observe that the number and power of Hindus have shrunk...or the emotion of Hindutva has limited...If Hindus need to stay as Hindu then Bharat requires to become 'Akand'," he commented.

Previously, while addressing a book launch, he stated, "India's suffering at the time of separation should not be overlooked. It will go away when the partition of India is undone."
