Digital Desk : Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh demanded the resignation of the incumbent Chief Minister Channi and Home Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa for the major breach of security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Calling the incident as ‘unfortunate’, Captain demanded the sacking of both the CM and the Home Minister for failing to provide security to the country’s Prime Minister.
“If 10km from the Pakistan border you cannot secure the Prime Minister of your country and you cancel the event then it is a damn shame,” said Captain Amarinder Singh.

Replying to the tweet posted by CM Channi saying, PM’s convoy being stopped his “Karma”, Captain added, “What Karma? There’s no Karma. They can tweet all they like, they tweet all the time, but it does not really have any meaning.”
Recalling how during his tenure, an information of a state dignitary arriving to the state was always informed before hand and all necessary instructions disseminated to avoid any ‘mistake of mishap’, this time no instructions were given properly, said Captain Amarinder.
Sensing “mischief” in today’s PM Modi’s convoy waiting incident, Captain Amarinder has called the present Punjab government looking into the entire incident as a “moment of benefit” for the upcoming elections.
