AAP wins big in Delhi municipal elections; display three exit polls

Aaj Tak predicts the BJP will win 69-91 wards, while Times Now predicts the BJP will win 84-94 wards. According to the News X-Jan Ki Baat exit poll, the AAP has 159-175 wards and the BJP has 70-92.

Digital Desk: The Aam Aadmi Party
(AAP) is likely to get 155 of the 250 wards in the Municipal Corporation of
Delhi (MCD) election, according to NDTV's poll of exit polls.

    According to
an exit poll conducted by Aaj Tak-Axis My India, the AAP may win 149-171 wards.
Another exit poll by Times Now-ETG showed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind
Kejriwal's party winning between 146 and 156 wards.

major defeat for the BJP, which has controlled the MCD for the past 15 years.

corruption in the MCD appears to have been effective.

performed admirably despite the BJP deploying its top officials to Delhi for
    the MCD election campaign.

national issues and bringing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "development
for all" message to Delhi residents' doorsteps has failed to halt the
    AAP's ascent.

carrying out fundamental urban projects now that it controls both the Delhi
    government and the municipal council.

and east. Before the election, the three were consolidated into a single
    entity.
