Instead of a social mindset, Ajmal often seen doing politics in the name of elections. Even political critics complain about Ajmal's behaviour and claimed that he does not want an educated society.
It is only in the name of politics that Ajmal forgets the heritage, dignity and legendary personalities of Assamese society. Ajmal's place is on the top whether it is in criminal cases or in the list of millionaires. According to the ADR report, in 2019 Ajmal's assets was worth around Rs 78 crore.

Ajmal has a bank deposit of Rs 48.23 lakh. The investment in bonds and shares is around Rs 11 crore. Moreover, there is an investment of Rs 15 crore in companies and trusts. He has 9 luxury vehicles worth Rs 90 lakh. Except these Ajmal has jewelleries worth Rs 12 lakh.
It may be mentioned that except Ajmal, Rakibul Hussain, Sukur Ali , Javel Ali and several others are also contesting from the Dhubri constituency.
