    Digital Desk: With the approaching elections, political activity nationwide continues to ramp up speed, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, general secretary of the Indian National Congress, will soon be the newest politician to visit Assam. 

    On April 16, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is scheduled to visit the state in the northeast, according to sources. The top Congressman will be advocating for Gaurav Gogoi, the party's nominee for the Jorhat assembly seat, during her visit. 

    She'll be taking part in a roadshow in Jorhat's Titabor as part of the campaigns. She will next head to Tripura's Agartala, where she has also plan to join campaign.
     
    Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is reportedly scheduled to spearhead a roadshow in Agartala on April 16 to lend support to opposition INDIA bloc candidates running for the Tripura West and Tripura East Lok Sabha seats. These reports surfaced on Friday.
     
    The purpose of the roadshow is to visit important spots in the state capital. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will be speaking to the people close to Surya Chowmuhani. Senior Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman urged people to actively participate in the roadshow, stressing the significance of the approaching elections and the urgent need for popular involvement in determining the destiny of the nation. 

    Pradesh Congress President Asish Kumar Saha will run for the opposition INDIA Bloc in the West Tripura Lok Sabha constituency, while former CPI(M) MLA Rajendra Reang will run in the East Tripura Lok Sabha constituency.
