    10 injured in a bleak elevator crash in Guwahati 

    In a sad incident, the elevator carrying considerable individuals broke down suddenly, causing injuries to around ten people in Guwahati.


    Digital Desk: A shocking incident has created concern among the people in Guwahati after an elevator crash all of a sudden. An elevator in Guwahati's multi-purpose building has suddenly collapsed and fell on the base with several individuals on board.

    An elevator in Chatribari's G.S Towers collapsed on Thursday, March 3rd, causing the disaster. The elevator from the building's second-floor plunged to the ground.

    When the lift collapsed, numerous individuals were inside, according to accounts. The incident is thought to have occurred due to a technical glitch.

    On the other hand, the left was said to be overcrowded at the time of the collapse. Instead of the maximum number of passengers that an elevator can carry, which is six, ten persons were on board.

    According to accounts, the passengers inside the elevator during the horrible tragedy included youngsters. Following the unexpected disaster, all ten passengers travelling in the lift were injured, but no one was killed.

    According to locals, footballers who used to practise on the top level of the same commercial building as G.S Towers are among the injured.

    The building is supposed to house Guwahati's first Rooftop Football Coaching Centre. Meanwhile, concerned officials are notified, and rescue efforts are underway, with the trapped individuals being transported outdoors.

    The injured have been transferred to the hospital, and an inquiry into the incident's cause has begun.
