    10 new cases Japanese Encephalitis reported in Assam, 2 deaths

    Digital Desk: As many as 10 new cases of Japanese
    encephalitis (JE) were reported from all over Assam on Thursday, and two more
    people died from the disease.

    Mission, Assam, JE caused one death each in the last 24 hours in Golaghat and
    Darrang.

    mso-themecolor:text1">With these, a total of 37 people have perished as a
    result of JE throughout the state since July.

    Golaghat, Hailakandi, and Nagaon, according to the release.

    has reported 236 total cases of JE, it noted.
