Guwahati: The Gauhati High Court on Wednesday informed that atleast 2.5 crores had been looted under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme by the concerned authority.
In connection to the scam of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been heard today at Guwahati High Court.

The court revealed that a massive amount of Rs. 2.5 crores have been transacted in the name of 30 lakh fake farmers under the PM Kishan Samman Nidhi Scheme. However, only a small amount of the plundered money has been recovered.
Further, the court expressed its disappointment against the police investigation of the scam as till now the government wasn’t able to submit valid details of the recovered money.
Notably, until now, the government has not arrested any officials in charge of the implementation of the PM Kishan Samman Nidhi Scheme.
