Digital Desk: In the ongoing war against drugs in Assam, Guwahati railway police seized 8.25 kg of suspected Morphine at Guwahati Railway Station on Tuesday.
As per the sources, three persons were arrested in the matter and the banned narcotics were seized from the accused persons.

Earlier, Assam police used particular intelligence to stop a Royal Enfield motorcycle at Sonabarighat Road. The arrested person, named Sahid Hussain Barbhuiya, was found in possession of four packets carrying roughly 47 grams of heroin, according to Superintendent of Police Numal Mahatta. The 25 lakh rupee worth of confiscated contraband was carefully covered up with yellow sticky tape. Authorities have promised to dismantle the entire network and are currently conducting investigations into Barbhuiya's activities.
Meanwhile, in a separate operation on Sunday night, law enforcement personnel targeted the illicit drug trade in the Uttar Lalpani area under the Jirighat police station. Based on top-secret intelligence, the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Lakhipur and his group detained thirty-year-old Hilal Uddin Borbhuiya and confiscated ten thousand suspected Yaba tablets from him.
