    Digital Desk: On Friday morning, a fight broke out between two groups over the installation of a tube well in Assam's Karimganj district.

    The incident occurred in the district's Nilambazar area. According to sources, the brawl erupted after one of the gangs attempted to install a tube well in front of a temple.

    Many people can be seen carrying a bamboo stick in the footage. According to a source, some persons were injured during the fights.

    Following the event, the Karimganj police raced to the scene and arrested one of the people directly involved in the tube well installation, however, no FIR has been filed in the case.

    "Yes, there was a conflict between two parties over the installation of a tube well," Karimganj Superintendent of Police Padmanabh Baruah told a local news agency.

    However, our team was able to gain control of the issue. There were no human injuries, but we did pick up one individual who was involved in the installation of the tube well in that location. So far, no formal complaint has been filed in the case."

    Meanwhile, the local authorities convened a meeting at the Nilambazar circle office to restore tranquilly in the area.

    Three people, including a woman, were killed and numerous others were injured in a violent battle between two factions in Assam's Barpeta district three days ago.

    The incident occurred in Sorbhog, Assam's Barpeta district, and was the result of a family disagreement.

    As a result of familial disputes, the victim's family's residence in Barpeta was set on fire, killing the old person and injuring several others, including the victim's children.

    Amitava Sinha, Superintendent of Police in the Barpeta district, confirmed the incident, saying three persons were murdered in the altercation, two of them named Hasmot Ali and his son Saiful Islam.

    So far, 14 persons have been detained by police in connection with the incident.
