Manoj Dhanowar from Dibrugarh, Bhaben Choudhary from Guwahati, and Rishi Raj from Sonitpur are their candidacies, according to the AAP.
Digital Desk: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced its candidacies for three Assam seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha election on Thursday. Speaking to the media at the party headquarters, Dr. Sandeep Pathak, the general secretary of the Aam Aadmi Party and a Rajya Sabha MP, stated that the party is naming candidates for three Lok Sabha seats in Assam today.
Manoj Dhanowar from Dibrugarh, Bhaben Choudhary from Guwahati, and Rishi Raj from Sonitpur are their candidacies, according to the AAP.
"We will begin our campaigns as soon as possible for these three Lok Sabha seats. We are hopeful that the INDIA Bloc will endorse it and grant the Aam Aadmi Party these three Lok Sabha seats. Elections are a fight, and we are fighters. Our goal in going to the polls is to win, not to fight. "Everything should be done in a time-bound manner because the goal of forming alliances is to win elections," AAP MP Sandeep Pathak stated.
Sandeep Pathak added that there have been discussions over seat sharing for a while.
“We have to take this conversation to a conclusion at the earliest. Aam Aadmi Party will remain a part of INDIA alliance with full honesty and strength. Aam Aadmi Party will follow the ‘dharma’ of alliance. The date of the Lok Sabha elections has almost been decided. There are a few months left in the Lok Sabha elections, in such a short time we have to prepare for the elections and also fight the elections. We have formed an alliance to win the elections and to win the elections; the names of the candidates have to be announced. We are in talks for seat sharing in other states. I hope and request that this dialogue will be completed at the earliest. If we just keep talking, when will we fight elections?” added the AAP MP.
Sandeep Pathak went on to say that discussions are underway regarding seat sharing in Delhi.
We are an obliging and considerate member of the INDIA Alliance. The Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress had an agreement for Punjab that the two parties will run independent campaigns in the state," asserted the parliamentarian.
He said that there would be no partnership between the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress in Punjab and that they would each run alone for the Lok Sabha.
"Seat sharing should have a time restriction set in the same manner as the Lok Sabha election deadline. As soon as possible, seat-sharing negotiations with the INDIA alliance's members should be concluded.
Election preparations can begin as soon as a resolution is made regarding seat distribution. "The Indian alliance will vigorously pursue the elections," the AAP MP stated as he wrapped up his press conference.
