Digital Desk : A new controversy has erupted between singers Diljit Dosanjh and AP Dhillon. It took centre stage during AP Dhillon's concert in Chandigarh where he accused Diljit of blocking him on Instagram.
Guwahati: All Koch Rajbongshi Students Union (AKRSU) held a press meet on Tuesday listing various demands before the Assam government.
Notably, the press meet comes ahead of the Cabinet meeting, scheduled to be held at Bongaigaon on November 24.
Addressing the media, Additional General Secretary Kamal Sarkar said, “We appeal to the government to take the decision of giving the scheduled tribe status to our community in the Cabinet meeting which is going to held at Bongaigaon.”

The government should give Kamatapur Autonomous Council (KAC) financial powers with immediate effect, added the Sarkar.
The Union also demanded for giving cabinet status to KAC chief executive Gokul Barman.
They also demand a permanent solution for the flood situation at Huramara and Sesapani that occurred by the Aai river and protect the golden langur of Kakoijana reserved forest.
Further, the Union also demands setting up Kamatapur University and declaring Abhayapuri as a tourist destination.
When asked about the government’s decision to hold a Cabinet meeting at Bongaigaon, Sarkar stated that AKRSU appreciated the initiative taken by the state government.
