Golaghat: Another carcass of Royal Bengal Tiger was recovered in Kaziranga National Park; reportedly the carcass was spotted by the forest guards in the field of Kohora range who went to the area for guarding it.
As per the officials, the tiger died 10 days ago, till now the reason for death is not said by the officials.
Soon after the recovery, a team of forest officials, veterinarians and others arrived at the spot and conducted a post-mortem of the carcass. Later, the carcass was cremated under the directive of the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA).
Earlier, on June 18, a carcass of a Royal Bengal tiger was recovered near Bheroni camp, which was being killed by a forest guard during firing to scare the tiger who came near the habitat area.
