    Digital desk: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the country's largest Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana. He unveiled the country's largest housing initiative, powered by solar energy, in Naharkatia, Dibrugarh marking a pivotal moment in Assam's infrastructure enhancement efforts.
     
    He posted in the X on Wednesday, " Today's #VikasYatra has delivered over Rs1,600 crore of development efforts across Assam. Prominent among them is a new solar-powered housing colony under PM Awas Yojana in Naharkatia, a state-of-the-art convention center in Lakhimpur, and ambulances for our tea gardens."

    The Vikas Yatra, a great initiative of CM Sarma's administration, witnessed the launch of developmental projects worth Rs745 crore in Dibrugarh, along with the inauguration of 46 projects valued at Rs807 crore in Lakhimpur. These underscore the government's steadfast commitment to fostering growth and prosperity across Assam. CM Sarma inaugurated many development projects in recent days. Earlier, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth ₹171 crore in Bongaigaon.
