Digital Desk: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma unveiled significant investment agreements worth Rs 2050 crore, expected to generate over 6,000 jobs. The statement was made as part of the state's drive to create jobs and stimulate the economy. As part of the CM Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan initiative, rewards were also given to entrepreneurs.

Sarma's announcement is in line with his previous predictions about how well the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would fare in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Assam. The chief minister expressed confidence about the BJP's chances of winning elections, especially in important statewide constituencies.

Sarma states that significant wins for BJP candidates are anticipated in areas like Jorhat, Dibrugarh, Kaziranga, and Nagaon. He anticipated that Jorhat and Dibrugarh would provide between 3 and 4 lakh votes and that Kaziranga would also be a major source of support for the party. The BJP is expected to receive between 50,000 and 1 lakh votes in Nagaon.

Sarma emphasized that as the public shows its support for the BJP, those who criticize Prime Minister Narendra Modi will suffer consequences. Additionally, he outlined the election chances of certain candidates, such as Sarbananda Sonowal, Tapan Gogoi, and Kamakhya Tasa, predicting Tasa's campaign to have enormous effects and triumphant wins.
