    Assam: Cabinet Reshuffle; new roles for Jogen Mohan, Nandita Gorlosa

    Digital Desk: The portfolios of two ministers in Assam's
    cabinet were reshuffled, and they were assigned additional ministries in
    addition to their existing responsibilities, according to an official statement
    from the Chief Minister's office on Monday.



    According
    to the notification, cabinet ministers Jogen Mohan, who is in charge of Revenue
    and Disaster Management and Hill Areas Development, and Nandita Gorlosa, who is
    in charge of Power, Cooperation, Mines and Minerals, Indigenous and Tribal
    Faith and Culture (except for the Directorates of Library and Museum), have
    been given additional responsibilities.

    addition to his present responsibilities, Assam cabinet minister Jogen Mohan
    was given the Department of Mines and Minerals from Nandita Gorlosa. Nandita

    Sports and Youth Welfare department. Nandita Gorlosa will also oversee the
    Directorate of Archaeology, which is part of the Indigenous and Tribal Faith
    and Culture department, according to the announcement.

    the CMO's official statement stated that Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa

    control of the Chief Minister, but has now been transferred to Assam cabinet
