Assam: Results for 4,380 Teaching positions declared
As a result, the newly hired candidates will now receive their employment letters on May 26 instead of May 11.

Digital Desk: The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam released the final results for 4,380 teaching jobs in Lower Primary and Middle English schools at midnight. The results were published on DEE's official website (https://dee.assam.gov.in/).

Out of the 4380 teaching positions, 3,887 are for assistant teachers in Lower Primary schools, and 1,443 are for assistant teachers and science teachers in Middle English schools.
On the DEE's official website, the results for teaching posts were announced by the district.

It was previously claimed that on May 11 in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, all new hires would receive their appointments.

Shah's journey, which was supposed to mark the alliance government led by Himanra Biswa Sarma's second term in office on May 11, had to be postponed to May 26 due to the Manipur state of affairs in terms of politics and society.

The Assam chief minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, said this during a news conference here in Guwahati. As a result, the newly hired candidates will now receive their employment letters on May 26 instead of May 11, as was originally planned.

The candidates' joining dates, which are set to begin on June 1, 2023, have not changed, though.
