    According to the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, the Independence Day celebrations are open to craftsmen and Khadi craftsmen from 18 different trades.

    Digital Desk: The 77th anniversary of India's independence will be celebrated at Red Fort in New Delhi this year, and Guwahati's potter Mahananda Kumar will be one of the 1,800 special guests from all around the nation attending the celebration.

    According to the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, the Independence Day celebrations are open to craftsmen and Khadi craftsmen from 18 different trades.
    They have been invited by the Indian government to attend the nation's flag-raising ceremony and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech.

    In order to participate in the Independence Day celebrations in New Delhi this year, the Ministry of MSME has invited 62 craftsmen (Vishwakarmas) from 18 different trades and 50 Khadi artisans from all over the nation, together with their spouses.

    On August 15, 2023, they will witness the Independence Day Flag raising by the Prime Minister of India at the Red Fort in New Delhi before joining the celebration at the home of Narayan Rane, the Union Minister of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.

    The government took the initiative to extend its sincere gratitude for their assistance in fostering the nation by inviting Khadi artisans and Vishwakarmas from all across India to take part in the festivities.
