Digital desk: The third edition of the prestigious Biju Phukan award ceremony was held today at the PWD conversation hall in Guwahati.  

Veteran Assamese actor Nipon Goswami was conferred with Lifetime Achievement Award 2021, for his tremendous contribution to the Assamese film industry.

The Royal Affairs group has announced 30 different categories for the year 2021.

Biju Phukan Award for the best ‘electronic media’ was conferred to the oldest and most popular news channel of Assam, Prag News.

President of Prag News, Akshata Narain accepted the prestigious award on behalf of the channel.

 Meanwhile, TIME8 was conferred with the Biju Phukan award for its outstanding work in the category of Digital Media.
